The expected results include increased awareness among VET students, teachers, and other stakeholders about the benefits of integrating design thinking methodologies and graphic design techniques into vocational education. The short raising awareness video will serve as an effective tool for promoting the new curriculum and generating interest in its adoption. The dissemination of the video through various online and offline channels will enable partners to reach a wide range of audiences and encourage their engagement with the project's goals and objectives. The engagement and participation of the target group, including VET students, teachers, and other stakeholders, will serve as a measure of the success of this activity.
The target group for this national training activity in Romania primarily includes VET teachers from the 3 VET and technical schools directly involved in the project, as well as other interested educators from the wider network of 35 technical and VET schools. At least 40 teachers will be selected to participate in the training.
The expected results of the activity include:
- Enhanced skills and knowledge of participating VET teachers/trainers in design thinking and graphic design methodologies, enabling them to effectively implement the joint curriculum in their respective institutions.
- Further validation and refinement of the joint curriculum based on participants' feedback, ensuring that it effectively addresses the identified skills gap and meets the needs of the VET sector.
- Strengthened collaboration and knowledge exchange among Italian and Romanian VET professionals, fostering a transnational approach to VET education and promoting the sharing of best practices.
- Increased capacity of the partner organizations to develop and deliver high-quality, interdisciplinary VET programs that align with the changing demands of the job market.
- Improved employability and career prospects for VET students as a result of the enhanced teaching methodologies and curricula.
- Broader dissemination of the project outcomes and impact, as participants apply the acquired skills and knowledge in their institutions and share their experiences with the wider VET community.
- Contributions to the overall project objectives by equipping participants with necessary skills, and fostering transnational collaboration and exchange of best practices in VET education.
